PAID PARKING ZONE RULES AND HOURS IN KRAKÓW:

🕙 When does the Paid parking Zone apply?
Subzone: Days in Effect: Hours:
Subzone A* Monday – Sunday 9.00 AM – 10.00 PM
Subzone B Monday – Saturday 9.00 AM – 10.00 PM
Subzone C Monday – Saturday 9.00 AM – 10.00 PM
* Important information for Subzone A:
🛒 Shopping Sundays: Parking in Subzone A is free on designated shopping Sundays. On all other Sundays, parking fees apply, except for holders of an active Kraków Card.
💳 Karta Krakowska: Holders of an active Kraków Card are exempt from parking fees on Sundays in Subzone A, provided that the vehicle registration number has been added to their Kraków Card account.
📅 Days exempt from parking fees (public holidays) – applicable in all subzones: A, B i C:
- January 1 (New Year’s Day)
- January 6 (Epiphany)
- Easter Sunday
- Easter Monday
- May 1 (Labour Day)
- May 3 (Constitution Day)
- Pentecost (Whit Sunday)
- Corpus Christi
- August 15 (Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary)
- November 1 (All Saints’ Day)
- November 11 (National Independence Day)
- December 24 (Christmas Eve)
- December 25 (Christmas Day)
- December 26 (Second Day of Christmas / St. Stephen’s Day)
🅿️ Parking Rates in the Paid Parking Zone (see below and the PDF link)
Important: Failure to pay the required parking fee may result in an additional charge of PLN 400. If this additional charge is paid within 7 days of the date the notice is issued, the amount payable is reduced to PLN 200. The relevant date is the date the funds are credited to the bank account specified in the notice or the date of payment made at the cashier’s offices of the Kraków Municipal Roads Authority.

♿ Information for persons with disabilities
Free parking is available only for holders of a valid Disabled Person’s Parking Card who park in designated accessible parking spaces (“disabled parking bays”), provided the valid Disabled Person’s Parking Card is clearly displayed in the vehicle.
Vehicles parked in any other space within the Paid Parking Zone are subject to standard parking fees.
