If you have found a notice resembling a shop receipt tucked under the windshield wiper or elsewhere on your car, you have quite likely forgotten to pay your parking. We understand that you didn’t intend to do so, yet the local law gives us no option of releasing anyone from charging the fee.
An additional fee of PLN 250 is charged for failure to pay the parking fee. If you make your payment within 7 days from the date on the notice, the amount is reduced to PLN 150. The date of crediting the due amount to the account mentioned in the notice or the date of payment at the cash desk of the Parking Zone Office shall be decisive.
The fee can be paid via bank transfer or at a post office to the special bank account indicated on the notice, specifically assigned for payments related to individual notifications. In Poland, the IBAN consists of the 2-letter country code “PL” followed by the full account number.
Alternatively, payment can be made at the cash desk of the Road Administration of the City of Krakow, located at 20 Reymonta Street, during the specified days and times as indicated on the website.
Don’t forget to indicate the number of the notice you received and the license plate number of your car in your wire transfer.
Name and address of the bank:
PKO Bank Polski Spółka Akcyjna – Centrala
ul. Puławska 15
02-515 Warszawa
BIC (SWIFT CODE): BPKOPLPW
Recipient: Zarząd Dróg Miasta Krakowa, 31-586 Kraków, ul. Centralna 53
PLEASE NOTE! If your foreign currency transfer resulted in transferring incomplete fee, you cannot take advantage of the PLN 150 reduced rate. You will be required to pay the difference up to full PLN 250. In case of foreign transfers, you can choose the currency of the country to which you transfer the funds and indicate the correct amount. You can also contact your bank to pay exactly the amount indicated on the notice.
Should you fail to comply, we will be forced to charge it from your account, irrespective of your place of residence of domicile.
If, however, you have paid your parking fee and received this notice, please contact us by email at strefa@zdmk.krakow.pl, and we will investigate what has happened. Contacting us will also let you know that what you hold is a real parking ticket, and not scam or a practical joke.
